thoughts, works and occasional videos

this is a second portrait which I began today.  This is merely the sketching of the image on the board which I will begin to bring to life this week.  Though I did a couple of portraits last year, I am now beginning a concerted effort to make strides in my ability. I have about 8 portraits lined up to work on.  I expect I will develop several at once, allowing for drying, glazing and the critical thinking process as I go.
